Privacy Policy

Data We Access

BaroPulse reads the following from Apple Health with your explicit permission:

• Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
• Resting Heart Rate
• Sleep analysis data (duration, stages)

BaroPulse also writes symptom logs (headache, body ache, fatigue, dizziness) back to Apple Health when enabled. This can be disabled in Settings.

Location data is used solely to fetch local barometric pressure from Apple Weather. Your location is never stored by the App.

Data Storage

Symptom logs and personal calibration data are stored on-device using SwiftData and synced via iCloud (CloudKit) to your other devices. This sync uses Apple's private database — only you can access your data.

Pressure readings, health snapshots, and baselines are stored locally only and are never uploaded anywhere.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information
• Location history or GPS logs
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Analytics or usage tracking
• Crash reports
• Advertising identifiers

Third-Party Services

Integration is limited to:

• Apple HealthKit — for health data read/write
• Apple WeatherKit — for barometric pressure data
• Apple CloudKit — for private iCloud sync of symptom logs
• App Store / StoreKit — for in-app purchases

No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included.

CoreMotion (Barometric Sensor)

When Apple Weather is unavailable (offline or API error), BaroPulse may use your device's barometric sensor via CoreMotion as a fallback. This data is processed on-device only and is not shared.

In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any financial data.

Children's Privacy

No personal data collection occurs from anyone, including minors.

Data Security

Protection relies on iOS encryption, on-device SwiftData storage, and Apple's CloudKit private database security. No backend servers are involved.

Your Rights

• Revoke Apple Health access via iPhone Settings → Privacy → Health
• Revoke location access via iPhone Settings → Privacy → Location Services
• Delete all app data from Settings within the App
• Uninstall to permanently remove all local data

Changes to This Policy

Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance.
